This relaxing 11-mile float trip starts at the base of mighty Hoover Dam. Your raft guide will float you down the rapid free part of the Bubbling Hot Springs cascading down to the river . . . Big Horn Sheep grazing along the canyon walls . . . Rainbow Trout rising to a fly may be seen as you drift on a U.S. Park Service inspected raft on this big western river. Take in nature’s beauty while you enjoy a picnic lunch on a shoreline beach area of the Colorado River. Ghost Town & Gold Mine Tour Be on the lookout for Ghost Riders and Gunfights on the Ghost Town & Gold mine Tour. It all happens at Oatman, Arizona, an authentic western ghost town and mining camp located along historic Route 66. Take your picture with one of the friendly donkeys that roam the streets of this old west mining town which still has many of the original historic buildings along the historic and famous highway. Lunch is served in the Oatman Hotel, where Clark Gale and Carol Lombard spent their wedding night and where "Oatie the host" an Irish Miner who died in 1930 is said to reside. A 45-minute guided walking tour of a real old time underground gold mine is part of this adventure. It’s always a comfortable 70 degrees in the mineshaft. Area51 – Top Secret Military Facility After an incredibly scenic drive and viewing of ancient Indian petroglyphs that resemble aliens, we arrive at the amazing and very remote Little A’Ale’ Inn. This location has been host to nunerous documentaries and movies including "Independence Day." Here you will find a wealth of information on this top-secret area. Captain Chuck Clark and ex-air force captain has written a manual on area 51, which is available for sale. The Area 51 Research Center is another must see location, which also has a large amount of information for sale including top secret documents, you can view. After a great Allen Burger at the Little A’Ale’ Inn we will travel to the location of the infamous Black Mailbox and then to the absolute perimeter of Area 51 through a strange and deformed Joshua Tree forest. We will see the guards (The Men In Black), detection devices, listening devices and cameras mounted among the cactus. The signs read, "The Use of Deadly force Authorized" and I’m sure they meant it. You can wave at the heavily armed guards in the 4x4 parked on the desert hillside but they don’t wave back, they just watch from behind their darkened windows. As much as the United States Air Force has denied the existence of this base, we know it is there but none know what it is they do there. We will also travel more Ancient Indian Petroglyphs that resemble Aliens. This is an extreme tour to the world’s most top secret military facility, the real home of the X files.
