Fantastic site, just found it. Any Tims looking for a good pub to watch the cup in Dublin try the "Seapoint House" aka "Irishtown House" in Irishtown. It'll be the one with the 20 foot banner on the roof. Hail! Hail! agus Tiocfaidh Ár Lá. Timmy Mac, DUBLIN.

Hail Hail from Leverkusen! I'm looking forward to visit Glasgow next Wednesday again. I've been very often to some of these Celticbars.com and I was always very welcome. Thank you! Next Wednesday is the best moment in my football life. My favorite club plays in the city of my favorite club as well. (I started my Celtic career in 1980 when Celtic player a pre season friendly in Wesseling). In Germany everyones favorite player was Karl Heinz Rummenigge or Kevin Keegan - appart from me: It was Danny McGrain! Long long time ago ............ Greetings to Paul, Chris, Jacky, Caroline, Ruth, Greame, Stuart, Ian, Billy and and and and from Heraghty's. See you next week Celtic & Bayer

You have listed Erin's Isle in Montechorro in the Algarve. I would strongly advise any Celtic supporters to avoid it. I have used it quite a few times and each time they have threatened to throw me out on the pretext that I am too vociferous and swear too much during the game. Frankly (as I pointed out to them) they are quite happy to advertise the celtic games to attract our money but have no conception of what it means to support celtic and in reality they could'nt really give a shit about celtic. They will quickly dump showing a celtic game if they see more potential in showing another game (for example if a busload of english hooleys arrive and want to see some massively exciting Scunthorpe V Hartlepool game.) Off course the staff would not have the guts to reprimand a load of english hooleys about their language. After all I suppose swearing is understandable because of the excitement of a Swindon v Lincoln city game, whereas I was only watching that mediocre and dull fixture between Celtic and the huns!

I emailed celticbars.com about a month ago with details of our venue. For some reason, it has not been updated under "M" (for Manchester). Anyway, I'll email again. In the meantime please note we show all televised Celtic matches. We have Setanta AND Sky. The bigger Celtic games are shown on our 3 metre big screen with cinema surround sound (in a room with capacity of 400). Other games - in Lounge Bar (capacity 150). We are The Irish World Heritage Centre, 10 Queens Road, Cheetham, Manchester M8 8UF (1 mile from Victoria Station). Website soon to be updated is www.iwhc.com. All the Rep of Ireland games also shown (including World Cup of course). Just to give you taster - how about this for a good full day: Sat 1st June Bars open 6:30 AM. Ireland v Cameroon at 7:30 AM. Full Irish breakfast served to table. Live trad Irish music. BBC Radio 5 Live (Fergus Sweeney) broadcasting nationwide from the Centre, before & after match and at half-time. Irish Post & Guinness promotions. Guinness Brewery of Douala, Cameroon sending us Cameroon shirts, flags, posters and bandannas. 10.00 AM - live band "Keep the Faith". 12.30 PM Germany v Saudi Arabia. 2.30 PM DJ playing Wolfetones etc. 8.00PM North of England Celtic Supporters' Clubs bash (organised by Tameside Emerald CSC) - with "the Pilgrims" plus support. (Also at 9.00 PM Live world championship boxing on big screen - Ricky Hatton v Eamon McGhee (the Belfast Bhoy). We will send an invitation to Eamon to join us after the fight, since that is taking place just a mile down the road at the Manchester Evening News Arena. If you can survive through that lot try to get yourself up early next day - Sunday 10:30 AM SWEDEN v ENGLAND with HENRIK & JOHAN - Live on big screen. Bars open early. Apologies for taking up so much space here - but just had to let yee all know. Hail & Slainte!

He is usually seen drinking in Irish Times in Brookfield, IL or in Chicagos Abbey Pub, Celtic Crossings, or Fast Eddies. Just tell him that his son Brendan was looking for him. Great site, I have spent many minutes (hours) just browsing through it and the related links. A brilliant idea. I would like to know though how to get in touch with you to enable me to give you information to update your 'facts' on Celtic bars/clubs. You know for the most supporters, most buses, most female members etc. Is it by e-mail or what? Please let me know as I have been asked by our committee to get in touch so as (hopefully) we can appear in at least some of the top 10's as we feel our Club, based on the information viewed, has the credentials to be included, which I know we can't be until someone gets in touch with you. My e-mail address is jim.mccleary@fullarton.com Thanks and keep up the good work!!! JIM McCLEARY IRVINE No.1 CELTIC SUPPORTERS CLUB
