o'reilly's is a traditional irish pub run in a traditional irish way, both staff and management hail from the EMERALD ISLE. We try to create a little piece of Ireland in Stuttgart, and by all accounts we are doing a good job. o'reilly's was voted the best Irish Pub by GUINNESS in 1998 and has won several awards since. In o'reilly's you can enjoy a genuine Irish feelling, so you will never feel alone, but as if you were in a living room in Ireland. Dave Carroll, the owner, keeps traditional music alive in the pub with sessions every Monday, to whom all are welcome. These kick into gear around 9pm and can last till the early hours. Dave has had plenty of practice of late nights with his time as a musician with BACHELORS WALK, with whom he played for almost ten years. Dave's friend MAC has managed to baffle a full pub every Tuesday with his now famous PUB-QUIZ which has the local professors from the University using it as part of their language class, as it is only in english. For all football fans Wednesday is often the biggest day of the week, with live coverage of both english and international games, squeezed between english language classes which have made o'reilly's their local, to soak up the real atmosphere with a pint and a portion of original irish fish 'n chips. LIVE MUSIC keeps the place busy on Thursdays with both local and visiting musicians. This starts normally around 9pm and the place is jumping an hour later. In summer we take a break to enjoy the terrace outside. And then the weekend starts. On Saturday and Sunday enjoy a traditional full IRISH BREAKFAST with all the trimmings, while watching your team play (football, rugby or hurling) l
